    My name is Daniel Hayward and I have been living, on and off, in Changsha since 2003. I graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in philosophy and politics and once into the world of work made the relatively quick decision ( it took about eight months) to begin a career in teaching. I first worked in Spain, for about six months, before deciding that the future was most definitely in Asia and so organised employment in the world's most populous country. I have always enjoyed both working and living in Changsha. The people here are usually very friendly, very welcoming and I wouldn't live anywhere else in China.
