 扑克牌是很多的一种传统性消遣，但是玩扑克真心需要心计，看过美剧“纸牌屋”House of Cards的人便明了，要不是因为玩扑克牌需要如此心计，人家干嘛把美国白宫政治斗争叫做House of Cards啊。因此有许多牌桌上的说法也就逐渐地成了人们生活的用语。常州英语口语培训小编几天带着小伙伴们来学习一下这些关于扑克的口语用法。

1.Poker face 脸上毫无表情，不动声色

“Can’t read my, can’t read my, no he can’t read my Poker Face.”

天天听天天唱，现在知道Lady Gaga的歌词里是什么意思了吧？

因为大家玩扑克的时候都要面无表情，以免被其他玩家看出来心里破绽。

2. A wild card 无法预料的事，未知数

局势中的未知因素在东欧。

3.Play with a full deck 有头脑的，神志清醒的

deck: 英文中一副扑克牌叫做 a deck of cards.

Have you noticed that old man who sits on a park bench all day talking to himself ? I overheard him today and he's just talking nonsense. I'm afraid the poor guy isn't playing with a full deck.

6. Lay (or put) one's cards on the table 摊牌，开诚布公地说明事实，和盘端出
