To wrap up

This is a common way to end a meetingand means to bring something to an end, often with a short summary. ‘Wrap up’is quite an informal phrase, but it’s fine to use in office situations。

这一表达通常用来表示会议结束，和结束某事，经常附有简短的总结。“Wrap up”不太正式，但可以在办公场合下使用。

E.g. “It’s 1pm so let’s wrap up thismeeting and I’ll see you all again next week。”

例句：已经下午1点了，所以会议结束。下周再见。

To sum up

This literally means ‘to summarize’ butsounds more natural in spoken English. Use this expression if you want tosummarize the main points of the meeting。

字面上意思是“总结”，但在口语中更为自然。如果你想要总结会议的要点，可以用这个表达。

E.g. “Let’s sum up – we can deliver thegoods you need on Thursday and you will pay in installments over the next 6weeks。”

例句：总结起来——我们可以在周四把你们需要的货物运过来。你们需要在之后6周内分期付款。

To recap

This is useful if you want to remindthe attendees of any points you have covered in the current or previous meeting。

如果你想要提醒与会人员你在现在或是之前的会议上提及的要点，这个词组很有用。

E.g. “So, to recap, when were thoseitems due?”

例句：所以，简要重述一下，这些项目截止时间是什么时候？

NOTE: we can also use this asa noun。

注意：也可以作为名词使用。

E.g. “Can you give me a recap of thepoints we covered last week?”

例句：你可以简要重述一下我们上周提及的要点吗？

Action points / next actions

These are the things that the attendeesshould do after the meeting, and are usually written in the minutes of themeeting。

这些是到会者在会议之后要做的事。经常在会议上会被记录下来。

We usually use the verb ‘to set’ whentalking about action points or next actions。

说到行动要点或者下一步行动，我们经常用动词“to set”

E.g. “Let’s set some action points.Sam, can you make sure the payments have come through? Sally, can you make surethe goods are ready for delivery?”

例句：我们来制定一下行动要点。山姆，你能确保付款已经到达了吗？莎莉，你能确保已经准备好运送货物了吗？

To look forward to / to be looking forward to

We use this expression to talk aboutthings in the future that we are excited about. It’s a nice expression to showyou are interested in working with someone. We usually follow it with a gerund(+ing)。

谈论未来让我们兴奋的事情的时候，用这个词组。它可以很好地表现出你对于和某人工作很有兴趣。之后跟动名词ing形式。

E.g. “I’m looking forward to workingwith you on this project。”

例句：我很期待和你在这个项目上一起工作。
