电视电影类托福独立口语话题解析

近年来，媒体类话题成为了新托福独立口语中的常考话题之一，但是媒体类一直是众多考生们的软肋。原因有许多，但最主要的原因是同学们缺乏对生活的观察和对相关表达的积累，导致对相关话题没话说和不会说。通过观察我们发现，考生们对于一个高频问题给出的答案听起来都很雷同。比如问到电视对儿童的影响是好还是坏，很多考生能想到的节目类型只有卡通，能给出的利弊分析只有提供娱乐和损坏视力。而这些往往是最通俗、出现频率最高的答案，但是安全答案鲜有高分表现，因为评分标准中明确规定了考生要使用不同的表达方式来阐述，并且最好给出不常见的论据。所以，综合上述常见问题，朗阁海外考试研究中心托福口语组的专家将在这里为大家来详细地补充说明一些加分的表达方式及用法，来帮助有需要的考生提高分数。

一、关于电视

首先，我们从电视开始说起。电视节目的种类有很多，尤其是当题目中问到你喜欢的节目时，大家除了常见的news(新闻)之外，还可以说说game show(游戏竞赛节目)、talk show(脱口秀)、variety show(综艺节目)、reality show(真人秀)、TV drama(电视剧)、live sports/live games(体育赛事直播)等。但仅仅有分类是不够的，我们一再强调托福口语的细节，所以在回答这类问题的时候，结合真实的节目名称能让你的回答更直接更具说服力。一些常见的中国节目有CCTV News(新闻联播), Straight Talking(实话实说), Big Pinwheel(大风车), Travelogue(旅行家), Topics in Focus(焦点访谈), Spring Festival Gala Evening(春晚), Happy Camp(快乐大本营), China’s Got Talent(中国达人秀), The Voice of China(中国好声音)等；一些较受欢迎的外国节目包括：Ellen Show(艾伦秀), The X Factor(英国偶像/美国偶像), America’s Got Talent(美国达人), NBA Games, The Daily Show(每日秀), Man VS Wild(荒野求生)等。

Pros of TV to kids:

Ø Some instructive television programs can teach kids important values and life lessons. 一些有教育性的节目可以教给孩子一些价值观和人生的经验教训。

Ø Cultural program can open up the world of music and art for young people. 文化类节目给年轻人打开了音乐和艺术的大门。

Cons of TV to kids:

Ø Television can affect learning and school performance if it cuts into the time kids need for activities. These activities are usually crucial to mental and physical development.如果孩子花了本该去做一些活动的时间去看电视的话，电视会影响学习。而这些活动通常是对孩子的身心发展非常重要的。

Ø Most of children’s free time, especially during the early formative years, should be spent in activities such as playing, reading, exploring nature, learning about music or participating in sports. 孩子的大部分时间，尤其是性格形成早期，应该被用来做以下几种活动，比如玩耍、读书、探索自然、学习音乐或是参与体育活动。

Ø TV viewing is a sedentary activity, and has been proven to be a significant factor in childhood obesity. 看电视是一种久坐的活动，并且已经成为导致儿童肥胖的重要因素之一。

二、关于电影

接下来，我们说说电影。独立口语中常考的一些题包括：喜欢的电影种类、电影的利弊、电影作为一种休闲方式的原因、最喜欢的电影和不喜欢的电影等。考察的范围较为广泛，但内容通过总结练习我们可以发现共性。但就共性而言很多考生依然摸不着头脑，而且仍在“吃老本”。所以接下来朗阁专家就补充一些新鲜的素材供大家参考。

在描述电影情节的时候，我们一般这样引出想说的内容：

除了描述电影情节，对于电影特征及亮点的描述是必不可少的，因为这集中体现了考生喜欢这部电影的原因。所以下列重点表达方式考生应牢记：

Ø Gone with the Wind is often considered the most beloved(挚爱的), enduring(经久不衰的) and popular film of all time.

Ø It is an impressive, engrossing(引人入胜的) piece of film-making.

Ø The inspirational(鼓舞人心的), life-affirming(坚定生命的) and uplifting(令人振奋的), old-fashioned style Hollywood product is a combination of prison film and character study(人物刻画).

Ø The successful film, both critically(从影评上) and financially(从收益上), soon became the second biggest hit(大热的影片) of the year 

Ø Undoubtedly, The Lord of the Rings is a true masterpiece(杰作) that will reign(盛行) as the single greatest book-to-film adaptation(根据书改编的电影) of all time. 

Ø The film Star Wars’ advanced special-effects(特效) technology was to a degree unseen before, with computerized and digitally-timed special effects.

Ø It is special in the use of color for the enhancement of dramatic mood.

Ø The film is full of humorous lines, many of which have become the buzzwords(流行词) of the year.

Ø The camera work of the film is breathtaking. You cannot help being amazed by the picturesque(生动的、别致的) scenes.

上述表达方式考生可灵活运用，套用在自己准备的电影上，加以修改，连成长句，并结合自身经验，还可以用对比等方式来论证自己的答案。

总之，关于媒体类的考题还需大家多积累与实际相关的词汇等，不能光做理论分析。如果大家能把自身经验和上述素材结合起来，不管什么样的关于电影电视的题目都能迎刃而解。
