按场景分类识记雅思听力词汇

雅思考试是一门什么样的考试呢？不爱考试的我在决定了出国的那一刻、就明白我必须参加一门语言类考试去meet the entrance requirement。当时摆在我面前的有两种选择：雅思和旧托福。那时候iBT还没有面试、我就将所有出国的语言类考试试卷都拿来做了个比较、发现所有的考试当中就只有雅思有口语考试、所以感觉只有这门考试还比较和实际联系紧密。具体到我们雅思听力当中、就是考查的所有场景和词汇都与生活相关、都很有实用性。

　　听力的词汇和我们出国后的日常生活息息相关、主要可以分为以下几个场景、需要大家来分场景记忆。在这里我们不会给大家把各类词汇做归纳总结、只会给大家讲解一下如何来归纳、让大家在备考的过程中有章可循。总的来讲雅思听力中的词汇可以归为两大类、即生活词汇和学术词汇。需要澄清的是学术词汇并不是说某一个专业领域内的词汇、比如物理大分子方向、或者医学中解剖学、而是考查在这个领域当中那些使用频率比较高的词、某些特殊的专业名词并不会出现在雅思听力当中。举一个例子、比如你刚到一个新的环境、首先你需要找到一个住处吧、那么这样的场景通常是什么样子的呢、用到的主要单词又是什么呢？听力中的accommodation的场景对话就会告诉你答案。但是你会发现答案一定不是那些关于房屋排水或者结构的词汇、而是关于水费、房屋的地理位置等这些非常通俗而且生活的内容。再比如、刚到学校、学校都会给新同学一些指导帮助、向你介绍一下学校的情况、告诉你如何使用学校的一些公共设施、这样就有了orientation 的场景对话。在这个场景中我们会学到很多和学校的公共服务息息相关的词汇。因此、为考试所作的准备同时也是在为将来的生活学习做准备、一举两得、何乐而不为呢？如果把这些词汇归个类、我们就可以更好地看出它是如何和我们的日常生活息息相关了、而不是高高在上了。
